Scott and I have travelled extensively although not much together. Scott conquered most of Europe, whereas I did bits of Europe, bits of South America, bits of the US, the obligatory Thailand stopover and then bits of Australia and New Zealand. Travelling around Australia is a common dream – one which all too often doesn’t get realised. We didn’t want to be one of those that don’t get to tick that off the list.
As Scott is a contractor his job is never secure and with the financial crisis jobs are hard to come by at the moment. So we figured that rather than sit at home and struggle with the crowds looking for work, it would be the perfect opportunity to pack up and go.
So essentially Ozdyssey is about turning a potentially gloomy time into an adventure with lots of special family time!
